Dr. Mruthyunjaya, ND, NAIP participates in the 1st meeting of the CII National Committee on Crop Development and Diversification 2006–07 held on July 23, 2006

Mr. Rakesh Bharati Mittal, Chairman of the Committee, Confederation of Indian Industries and Vice-Chairman and MD, Bharati Teletech Ltd., chaired the meeting and made a presentation on the proposal for the agenda. One of the agenda items was discussion on the National Agricultural Innovation Project (NAIP). Dr. Mruthyunjaya made a brief presentation on the project. The Chairman observed that CII would like to participate in the regional sensitization workshops being organized by PIU, NAIP and offered to organize a dedicated sensitization workshop on the project for the benefit of the CII members
